About the event

Spring is here! Join Cherianne, local community herbalist and forager for an afternoon of exploring the forest and meet local edible plants that grow abundantly in this region.

You will learn:

- how to positively identifiy wild plants

- tips on how to incorporate a variety of wild edibles into your everyday life.

-  safety and ethical harvesting of the plants

Make sure to pack a water bottle, small snack and a notebook/phone to take notes or pictures.

The day of the walk, I suggest that you consult the Environment Canada Forecast before you head to Ferguson Forest and come dressed for the outdoors because we will be out there rain or shine!

Investment: $30 CAD
