About the event
For anyone holding grief on Mother's Day - whether for a mother, a child, or something else entirely.
This is a slow, supportive walk through the forest for those navigating loss on a day that can feel especially tender. Whether you're grieving a mother, a child, or another part of your story, you're welcome here, just as you are.
You’ll be guided through gentle, sensory-based invitations that encourage mindfulness and connection with the land. These prompts may invite quiet reflection, emotion, or simply space to notice and breathe. There’s no pressure to speak or share, just the option to be present, to move slowly, and to feel held by nature.
This is not therapy—but it is a form of community care. Inspired by grief-tending traditions and informed by Cherianne’s personal experience with loss, this walk is meant to be a soft place to land, even if only for a moment.
